Matthew Hermosillo once pursued a career in entertainment as a production attorney working for the likes of HBO and Blumhouse.

In 2023, he made the career defining move to pursue a fully creative track in entertainment after previously winning the “Best Original Screenplay Award” from the Santa Monica International Film Festival.

As a consequence, Matthew applied for and was admitted into the MFA directing program for Chapman University‘s Dodge College of Film & Media Arts.

Since joining the directing MFA program at Dodge College Matthew has gone onto to direct five (5) other projects, including a spec-commercial approved for production by Pura d’or Shampoo.
